Our Teen & Adult Striking Class is designed for all experience levels, from complete beginners to those preparing for competition in kickboxing or MMA. Whether your goal is to get in great shape, learn practical striking skills, or challenge yourself in a new way, this class offers a fun and rewarding training experience.

Students will develop proper technique in punches, kicks, elbows, and knees through structured drills, pad work, and heavy bag training. You’ll learn how to move efficiently, generate power, and build combinations in a safe, controlled, and encouraging environment.

Students can train at their own pace, with opportunities to progress toward more advanced training or competition if desired. No experience is necessary—our coaching will guide you step by step from the fundamentals upward.

I joined the Striking Class at Perth Combat Club with zero experience, just tagging along with a friend—and it’s easily become the highlight of my week. From the very first session, I felt welcomed and supported, especially as a beginner. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve at their own pace.

What surprised me most is how empowering the classes feel. Not only am I learning new skills, but I can already see improvements in my stamina, control, and overall fitness. The cardio aspect of striking is both intense and genuinely fun—it never feels like a chore.

I also really appreciate the supportive, women-friendly environment. It’s motivating to train in a space where you feel encouraged, respected, and comfortable pushing yourself. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve even started practicing exercises at home just to keep getting better for class.

If you’re thinking about trying something new—especially if you have no prior experience—I can’t recommend this enough. It’s a fantastic workout, a confidence booster, and an all-around great community!
