Gi vs NoGi
What does this mean?
Gi classes are done in the BJJ uniform.
It simulates grappling in clothing. If you are attending your first class and do not have a gi, No problem! You can participate comfortable exercise clothing or we have gi’s that you can borrow at the club.

NoGi classes are simply classes without a Gi.
Ideally you'll need shorts or spats (tight-fitting leggings) to wear on your lower body. Choose shorts with an elastic waistband and no pockets, zippers, or buttons to avoid injuries during training. Spats offer similar benefits to rashguards (tight fitting shirt) such as compression and protection from mat burn.
For your first class shorts, sweat/yoga pants with a t-shirt or rashguard is fine. * No tank tops, short shorts or clothing with zippers.
